Science class has completed our study of life science. Students created a picture family tree so they could identify genetic traits they had inherited from parents and grandparents. We will begin studying the Earth for the last two weeks of school - Earth's surface, earthquakes, and volcanoes.
Extended learning students are practicing reading, math facts, word identification, or whatever is needed.
Only two weeks left. I'm starting to haul some of my things home. Every load makes it more real that the end is near. I may be done teaching, but I won't be done with St. John's. After 30 years of involvement with this school, I can't give it up completely! I hope to help with hot lunch, as a substitute teacher, and perhaps as a classroom volunteer. I thank God for the many opportunities He's given me to be involved with the children of our school. Praying for God's continued blessings on our children and school.
